What Quail has learned about your app, and what to do with it
Quail keeps a running picture of your application, not just a list of bugs: a screenshot and a few learned facts per functional area, refreshed a little more with every Explore run, right alongside what you tell it yourself. It never really stops looking — this page keeps getting richer, not just filled in once and left to gather dust.
- Target URL and Accounts and access live at the top of this page — the where and the who-am-I-logged-in-as for every Explore run
- Grade each area Focus/Standard/Ignore, and add your own note: Focus gets extra attention, Standard is tested normally, Ignore is skipped entirely, even if Explore stumbles onto it
- Explore can add a newly-discovered area on its own, or fold two together when they turn out to be the same thing. Capped at 15 areas total, because even a very keen bird has to stop somewhere.
- A part of your site behind a login Explore couldn't get past is flagged, not silently skipped. Add a test account above to clear it.
- Bird's-eye and Field notes are two views of the exact same data. Pick whichever reads better to you — Quail isn't precious about it.
