How much Quail tells you, per channel
Choose what reaches your in-app bell and your email. Each channel has its own level: Everything, Important only or Mute. These are personal settings that apply across every company you belong to.
- Important only: new issues found, issues regressed, invites or join requests waiting for your decision, and (for Company Admins) members joining or leaving the company
- Everything adds explore runs completed, issues marked fixed and new projects created
- Mute means nothing at all, even invites and join requests. The bell can't be muted, because that's where invites and join requests that need an answer land
- Defaults: the bell shows everything, and email sends important events instantly
- Email can be sent instantly or batched into one daily digest at 09:00 UTC
- Exceptions: give a whole company or a single project its own bell and email level. A project's setting beats its company's, which beats your default
- Email needs SMTP to be configured for the deployment, otherwise the email controls are disabled
- Slack is separate. It's a company setting under Company → Settings
